CBSE UGC NET RESULT 2017 to be declared soon
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the results for the UGC NET 2017 (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test ) soon. CBSE has not yet released the official date of result but it is likely that the result will be out in the month of April. You can check the result on the official website of UGC NET cbsenet.nic.in. The exam was conducted on January 22, 2017.
The UGC NET exam was held in three parts. Part 1 contained multiple choice questions. There was a total of 60 questions, out of which the students had to answer 50. Each question carried 2 marks. Part 2 had 50 questions which carry 2 marks each while in part 3, the students had to answer 75 questions, again each question carrying 2 marks.
To calculate the results this year the process of “digital scoring” has been used for the first time.
CBSE in a statement said that about 400 exam centres across the country used the process of digi scoring for the exam. OMR sheets were scanned at the exam centres itself and immediately stored at the central server of CBSE.
CBSE plans to increase the number of centres using Digi scoring across the country to over 1900 for the JEE exam which will be held later this month.
7.94 lakh candidates gave the exam this year out of which 4500 took the yoga test.
This exam will determine a candidate’s eligibility for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/orAssistant professorship. A large number of candidates who are looking for further opportunities in their career are eagerly waiting for the results.

STEP 1 – Visit the official website (web portal) of the UGC NET exam (wcbsenet.nic.in)
STEP 2 – Click on the notification button which will appear on the homepage of the website.
STEP 3 – Enter your details required to know your result.
STEP 4 – Download your result and don’t forget to take a print out of the same for further use.
