Can colleges see how many times you took the SAT?

There is no limit on the number of times a student can take the SAT or ACT. I like to use common sense as a guide—more than three attempts is unlikely to result in better scores unless a student has devoted considerable time and effort to improvement. Colleges do not penalize students for multiple attempts.

Should I send all SAT scores or just best?

The better prepared you are for the SAT test, the better you’re likely to do – which means you may not need to retake the test. If you choose to send scores from a test, you must send all scores from that test (critical reading, math, writing); you can’t choose to send only your math scores, for example.

Does Harvard require all SAT scores?

Since Harvard College is not requiring applicants to submit standardized test scores for the 2020-2021 application cycle, your standardized scores will not display in the Common Application PDF preview, even if you have chosen to submit them.
